The palate is in the Hunter Valley medium bodied style and does not disappoint with lashings of juicy cherry fruit integrated with fine tannins throughout the palate and a fresh lingering acidity. The wine is combination of flavour, softness and lightness.
Deep purple red with a nose of chocolate, earthy spice and blood plum, this follows with an incredibly smooth creamy palate with blackberry and plum fruit and dense supple tannins and a long fruit dominated finish.
“Medium to deep red colour with a good tint of purple. The bouquet shows some graphite, coal-dust and char-oak, while the palate is rich and soft, the flavour deliciously detailed and long-lasting, with superb harmony and seamlessness. A stunning shiraz that drinks wonderfully well now but has plenty up its sleeve. Wow!” – Huon Hooke

The Revee vineyard is located in Tumbarumba, NSW. This is a high altitude, cold climate area in the western foothills of the Snowy Mountain ranges. It has long cold winters with frequent snow, followed by warm summer days and cool nights. An opulent wine with ripe fig, white peach and honey dew melon fruit flavours which lead onto a creamy roasted nut palate with well integrated oak and "Wild" ferment complexity.
Bright medium straw in colour. Classic regional lime juice aromas with lemon and fragrant jasmine. The palate, being spicy and flavoursome balances its exceptional body and weight with a rich and complex long line of acid.
