A deep and vibrant crimson colour, hinting at the richness and concentration that the healthy red soils can bring to the grapes. The 2021 vintage, was marked by its own climatic conditions, superior to 2020. This has contributed to the wine's color intensity and overall structure.

On the nose, this Cabernet Sauvignon offer an inviting bouquet of aromas that are emblematic of the grape variety. Expect to find blackcurrant, dark cherry, and possibly plum notes, reflecting the ripe fruit that the healthy red soils have helped nurture. Blackberry and jubey raspberry, cedar and tobacco, a pleasant earthiness and violet perfume. It’s medium to full-bodied, firm grainy almost gravelly tannin, something like iodine in there too, and a firm and slightly hard finish, tannin gripping as it goes.

The Sweetwater Estate Cabernet blocks grown on the red clay loam over weathered limestone were picked in late February. The cool 2022 vintage resulted in beautifully ripe and pristine fruit. Deep red with blackberry, sage and cassis aromas and a fleshy palate with fine grained tannins.
